NDEs (Near Death Experiences) create challenges and potentials for change on an individual level. NDEs also create challenges and potential for change in the fields of psychology, medicine, and religion. This session will provide an opportunity for professionals in these fields to discuss the impact that NDEs are having in their field at both philosophical and practical levels.

  • Board-certified Family Physician and Hospice and Palliative Care Physician.
  • Medical Director of Wellness Center of Mercy Medical Center in Durango, Colorado.
  • Author of “Love is the Link: A Hospice Doctor Shares Her Experience of Near-Death and Dying.”
  • Past board member of IANDS (International Association of Near-Death Studies.)

Ms. Kircher graduated from Baylor College of Medicine in 1979, completed a family practice residency from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, TX in 1982, and has worked as a family physician and hospice doctor for the past 20 years. She has also given over 100 talks on NDEs and end-of-life issues. “Love is the Link: A Hospice Doctor Shares her Experience of Near-Death and Dying” was published in 1994.
