Throughout history, crossculturally, horses have played a significant role as healers, psychopomps, spirit carriers, and power animals in the restoration of body, mind and spirit. This engaging and empassioned presentation will explore the transpersonal approach of healing through experiential modalities of equine assited growth and learning


About the Presenter:

Diane Kennedy, a  psychotherapist in private practice, is the managing member of Equine Insights LLC and The Mustang Center LLC. She previously founded the award-winning Medicine Horse Program.

A certified equine-assisted therapist through the Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association, Diane has worked extensively with adults and teens. Since 1999, she has been a registered riding instructor for the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association. 

Diane holds an M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Naropa University and teaches through Naropa and Boulder Valley School District’s Lifelong Learning Program.

In addition to workshops and classes, she offers individual, group and family therapy as well as apprenticeships in equine-assisted learning.
