About the Presentation

Our society is increasingly being portrayed as “addicted”’ to fossil fuels. What is the political, financial, environmental and psychic price we pay for that addiction? What is the hope for breaking our addiction and finding our way forward to a clean energy future? What can we do as individuals and mentors to accelerate the transition to the post-fossil fuel world? How can we energize the depressed and build the momentum needed to repower our country for the new century? Where are the beacons of light and how can we replicate them and provide hope and inspiration for those who are worried about the state of our planet?

From coast to coast, Leslie Glustrom has helped audiences of all sizes and backgrounds regain hope regarding our energy—and economic—future. Whether you are personally feeling weary or whether it is people you know through your faith or therapeutic work, Leslie has a long history of leaving her audiences energized and inspired about our clean energy future.

  1. Great presentation Leslie! You inspired us with the amount of time, effort and imagination you invest in moving us as a society toward clean, sustainable energy.

Here’s a link to my article in the Presbyterian online journal “Justice Unbound” that I’d like to share with the Interface community: http://justiceunbound.org/journal/current-issue/the-nature-quotient-deep-ecology-and-nature-deficit-disorder/

Hope you enjoy it, and your welcome to respond with comments.
